Wordera Privacy Policy

Publisher: Moranta Fall — Last updated: August 23, 2026
Wordera is a vocabulary-learning app. It doesn't require creating an account, has no application server, and almost all the data you generate stays on your phone. The only third party that receives data about you is the one that manages your subscription (Apple and RevenueCat), and only if you subscribe.

No account, no server

Wordera has no sign-up or sign-in. The app has no central server: we do not collect or host your data on a remote database that we operate.

Data stored only on your phone

This information is saved locally on your device (app storage) and is never sent to a server. It's used only to make the app work on your phone.

DataWhyWhere
First name, age range, and answers given during onboarding (confidence level, difficulties, goals, available time, notification preference, etc.) Personalize the experience and onboarding Phone only
Favorite words, learned/mastered words, accuracy stats, current streak Track your progress Phone only
Display preferences (e.g. hint already seen), whether the free trial has been used App functionality Phone only

This data disappears if you uninstall the app, or if you use a reset feature inside the app. We don't have access to it and can't retrieve it for you.

Notifications

If you turn them on, Wordera schedules reminders (for example, so you don't lose your streak) directly on your phone, using the operating system's notification tools. No identifier or content is sent to a server for this: these are local notifications, not push notifications from the internet.

Word pronunciation

Reading words aloud uses the text-to-speech engine built into your phone. Wordera does not transmit any data for this.

Premium subscription — the only data shared with a third party

If you subscribe to Premium, the purchase goes through Apple's App Store and is technically handled by RevenueCat, the service we use to verify and manage subscriptions.

What is shared: Why: to know whether your subscription is active and unlock Premium features.
How long: according to the retention periods set by Apple and RevenueCat themselves, generally for as long as needed to manage your subscription and to meet their own legal/accounting obligations.

Apple and RevenueCat are each responsible for their own data processing. See Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What Wordera does not do

Who this app is for

Wordera is intended for an adult audience and is not designed for children. It does not knowingly collect data about minors.

Your rights

Since most of your data stays on your phone, you can view, change, or delete it at any time directly in the app (settings, reset) or by uninstalling the app. For any question about data tied to your subscription (managed by Apple/RevenueCat), or to exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion) under GDPR, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves (for example, if a new third-party service is added). The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the version currently in effect.
